I began as a painter and became a photographer to capture the magical moments of motherhood. That artistic vision has developed into telling the story of families, weddings, brands, and the dance world through my image-making.

Growing up in the midwest gave me a love for trees and moody light. Raising my family in California has given me a love for sand, surf, and golden light.

I'm a mama to four children here on earth, and I have experienced the grief of losing three babies. Motherhood has taught me not to take moments for granted.

My husband is a pilot who served 20 years in the military. Exploration and adventure is at the heart of our family and this amplifies how we value home.

I hold a degree in art education, owned a photography school, write professionally, dance, draw, paint, and shoot film with a trove of old cameras. I can't not create.
